The roots of Number Ten Chattanooga begin two hours to the southeast in Atlanta where business partners Vern Kennedy and Adam Johnston met growing hydroponic lettuce.

In 2017 the duo relocated to Massachusetts to renovate two restaurants owned by Vern. The pair decided one needed a fresh vision and Number Ten Great Barrington was born in 2018. Despite the pandemic, the original Number Ten was a huge success bringing high quality, but still reasonably priced steaks, small plates and American whiskey to hungry masses.

With a desire to head back south again, Adam’s circle of classic motorcycle riders found the Burnside project and he immediately recognized the old manufacturing building was the perfect location for the next Number Ten
